Just a quick note to let readers know that the RAN has released the latest Semaphore, under the title:

Ships named Adelaide

INTRO: With the second of the Royal Australian Navy’s (RAN) new amphibious ships (LHD) nearing completion and due to commission as HMAS Adelaide (III) in 2016, it seems timely to review the history of the two previous RAN warships to have proudly carried the name of South Australia’s capital city.
